1. Academic Integrity
Prohibited Conduct
✖ Plagiarism:
- Submitting others' work as your own
- Copying without quotation marks/citations
- Paraphrasing without crediting source
- Resubmitting same work for multiple courses
- Using AI-generated content without disclosure
✖ Cheating:
- Copying during exams
- Using unauthorized materials during exams
- Communicating with others during proctored exams
- Submitting false credentials
- Taking exams on behalf of another student
✖ Fabrication:
- Inventing research data
- Falsifying sources or citations
- Altering documents or grades
- Misrepresenting qualifications
Authorized Assistance
- ✓ Study groups and peer discussion
- ✓ Tutor/counselor assistance (with disclosure)
- ✓ Use of tools (calculators, spell-check, grammar tools)
- ✓ Approved collaboration (when assigned)
AI & Generative Technology Use
Permitted: Brainstorming, editing, concept explanations, debugging
Prohibited: Submitting AI-generated content as your own work
Required: Disclose when used (percentage, tool name, purpose)
Consequences
- First: Warning, assignment grade 0, training
- Second: Temporary suspension, course failure, probation
- Third/Serious: Expulsion, degree revocation, university notification
2. Conduct & Respect
Standards
All interactions must be:
- Respectful and professional
- Inclusive and constructive
- Honest and transparent
- Free from harassment or discrimination
Prohibited
- ✖ Harassment or bullying
- ✖ Discrimination based on protected characteristics
- ✖ Sexual harassment or exploitation
- ✖ Hate speech or slurs
- ✖ Threats or intimidation
- ✖ IP violations
Reporting
- Report to counselor or conduct@edubridgeeducation.com
- Anonymous reporting available
- Protection against retaliation
- Investigation and resolution process
3. Platform & Resource Usage
Acceptable
- ✓ Lawful use for educational purposes
- ✓ Respect others' accounts and data
- ✓ Appropriate course-related content only
- ✓ Secure and compliant system usage
Prohibited
- ✖ Hacking or unauthorized access
- ✖ Disruption or spam
- ✖ Illegal activity
- ✖ Privacy invasion of others
4. Professional Standards
You represent EduBridge and your university. Maintain professional conduct in:
- Online interactions
- Forum discussions
- Virtual meetings
- Event participation
5. Consequences & Discipline
- Minor: Warning, resubmission, tutoring
- Moderate: Suspension, course failure, probation
- Serious: Expulsion, legal action, degree revocation
- Zero Tolerance: Child exploitation, violence, sexual assault
6. Appeals & Rights
You can appeal if:
- Decision is factually incorrect
- Evidence not properly considered
- Process was unfair
- Sanction is disproportionate
Appeal Process:
- Request within 10 days to appeal@edubridgeeducation.com
- Review within 5-7 days
- Hearing within 10-14 days
- Final decision binding
7. Special Situations
- Mental Health: Support available, not excuse for violations
- Financial Hardship: Support resources, not excuse for conduct violations
- Substance Abuse: Referral to resources, zero tolerance for impairment
