Acceptable Use Policy

Introduction

This Acceptable Use Policy governs your use of EduBridge's platforms and services. Violations may result in account suspension or termination.

• Credit card fraud

1.2 Harmful Content

✖ Illegal Content:

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
• Extreme violence content
• Content violating local laws

✖ Exploitative Material:

• Non-consensual intimate images
• Deepfake pornography
• Abuse content

✖ Violence & Harm:

• Threats of violence
• Suicide promotion
• Self-harm instructions
• Hate speech
• Genocide promotion

• Bullying or cyberbullying
• Doxxing
• Coordinated harassment

✖ Discriminatory Content:

• Hate speech
• Slurs or derogatory language
• Discrimination based on protected characteristics

1.3 System Abuse

✖ Unauthorized Access:

• Login to others' accounts
• Exceed authorized access
• Bypass security mechanisms

✖ System Disruption:

• Denial of service attacks
• Malware or viruses
• Interfering with functionality
• System overload

✖ Spam & Unwanted:

• Unsolicited bulk email
• Forum spam
• Phishing emails
• Mass promotional content

✖ Misuse:

• Selling course access
• Redistributing materials
• Fake accounts for spam
• Impersonation
• Harvesting email addresses

2. Account Security

You Are Responsible For:

• Keeping password confidential
• Using strong passwords (12+ characters)
• Using secure networks
• Device security and updates
• Monitoring account activity
• Reporting suspicious logins immediately

You Accept Full Responsibility For:

• All activities under your account
• All submissions and exams
• All communications
• All transactions
• Even if compromised (unless we confirm unauthorized access)

3. Content Usage

What You Can Share

What You Cannot Share

Content Attribution

You Must:

• Give credit to original creators
• Cite all sources properly
• Disclose AI tool usage
• Include bibliography
• Note collaborative work

4. Communication Standards

Professional Communication:

• Respectful tone
• Spell check before sending
• Concise and clear
• Respond within 24-48 hours
• Professional salutation

Forum Participation:

• Stay on topic
• Read before responding
• Disagree respectfully
• Support claims with evidence
• No spam or promotion

5. Security & Vulnerabilities

If You Find Vulnerability:

1. Report privately to security@edubridgeeducation.com
2. Don't exploit or share publicly
3. Give us 90 days before disclosure
4. Be respectful and professional

We Will:

• Acknowledge within 48 hours
• Investigate promptly
• Credit you (if desired)
• Provide compensation for serious issues

6. Bandwidth & Resources

You Should NOT:

• Use file-sharing networks (BitTorrent)
• Mine cryptocurrency
• Stream excessively
• Run automated scripts
• Leave sessions open continuously

Storage:

• Typical limit: 5-10 GB per user
• Store course materials only
• Not for personal file backup

7. Enforcement

Violation Response

Non-Serious (First):

• Warning email
• Request to remove content
• 7-day cure period

Moderate (Repeat):

• Account warning/restriction
• Temporary suspension (24 hours-7 days)
• Content removal

Serious (Illegal, Harmful):

• Immediate suspension
• Content removal
• Permanent termination
• Law enforcement notification (if required)

Suspension & Termination

Temporary Suspension:

• Usually 24 hours to 7 days
• Can regain access by email confirmation

Permanent Termination:

• Irreversible deletion
• No refund for prepaid
• Cannot re-enroll
• Legal action possible

Appeals

You can appeal within 14 days if:

• Decision was unfair
• Policy was misapplied
• Due process not followed
• Punishment disproportionate

8. Monitoring & Enforcement

We May Monitor:

• Login activity and access patterns
• Bandwidth usage
• Content posted on forums
• Messages reported by users
• File uploads for malware
• Payment transactions
• System logs for security

We Do NOT Typically Monitor:

• Private course access (unless reported)
• Email content (unless investigating violation)
• Personal learning progress
• Video calls (unless recorded with consent)

9. Third-Party Content & Links

We Do NOT Endorse:

• Third-party websites we link to
• External content or accuracy
• Security of external platforms
• Privacy of external services

For Third-Party Integrations:

• Payment processors: Razorpay, PayU, Stripe
• Email services: Mailchimp, SendGrid
• Analytics: Google Analytics, Hotjar
• CRM: Zoho, Intercom
• Each has own terms and privacy policies

10. Children & Special Cases

For Users Under 18:

• Parents/guardians responsible for account
• Parent consent required for payment
• COPPA compliance (US users under 13)
• Stricter content restrictions

Automated Accounts/Bots:

• NOT permitted (except authorized API)
• Scrapers and crawlers not allowed
• Automated posting prohibited

11. Changes to Policy
